The valley dam Seč I. was built in 1925 - 1934 on the Chrudimka.
Masonry dam is 42 m high and 165 m long, the volume of the reservoir is 22 mil. cubic meters, area is 220 ha. A wooden surface feeder leads to the water power plant provided with Francis turbine.
The balancing reservoir Seč II. (Padrty) was erected in 1941 - 1947. The dam meets the function of protection against floods, it serves the water treatment plant and recreational exploitation.
