STEAM BATH

Served in a steam chest or a turkey bath. Temperature of a steam bath is between 45- 50°C. Procedure is finished by cold shower and cleaning dry. It can be served as a separate procedure as well. Usually it is used for preheating before the Scottish shower.

Indications for a steam bath treatment:

• Need of preheating the organism prior to procedures that apply coldness as treatment procedure
